As human beings, we are connected to higher order systems. We live in the natural world, which includes many levels. Each of our actions reflects on other beings. As human beings, we have a great influence on the state of the environment, we make decisions that affect and maintain the environment that surrounds us.

As part of its work, Altteatar places a special focus on the Eco Theater, where our mission is to raise awareness of the environment and work on its improvement through drama workshops and theater performances. Within this field of work, Altteatar implements a project in cooperation with the Institution for the education and reception of children "Mala škola" Vareš.

Work with children through this project is based on the use of methodology and terminology acceptable to specific ages, which is why teaching children through play is the most acceptable model. Theater as an artistic expression through speech, gesture, acting, music, sound and other means that are directly presented to the audience can have a great impact, not only on the growth and shaping of the personality and character of children who will participate in the creation and performance of plays, but also on the audience before with which this performance is directly performed. We believe that with the help and through the creativity of children for children and adults, it is possible to influence the strengthening of public awareness of a broader public change.

Workshop leaders are Alena Džebo Hećo, Jovana Milosavljević, Emir Fejzić, Slaven Vidak, Sanjin Arnautović, Staša Dukić, Deni Mešić and Nedim Džinović.
